11:33⇢India Reaches the Space Station
⌨The newspapers report that Shubhanshu Shukla has successfully reached the International Space Station after his SpaceX Dragon capsule completed docking, making him the first Indian to board the ISS. The docking occurred 20 minutes ahead of schedule using laser sensors, cameras and automated systems while the station passed over the north Atlantic Ocean (Aaj Tak, ABP Live, Dainik Bhaskar, Firstpost, India Today, Jagran, Mathrubhumi, NDTV, The Hindu, The Print, Times of India, Zee News). Shukla will conduct research for 14 days aboard the station as part of the Axiom-4 mission. Meanwhile, flash floods struck Jammu killing three people with four others rescued (Dinamalar), and tensions escalated on the Assam-Meghalaya border after over 400 villagers from Meghalaya's West Jaintia Hills attacked a plantation created by Assam's Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, alleging encroachment (The Wire Hindi).
